The 10th International Precipitation Conference (IPC-10) will be held at the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Coimbra, Coimbra, Portugal. The history of the University of Coimbra dates back to the century following the one in which the Portuguese nation itself was founded, since the University was established in the 13th century, in 1290 (check http://www.uc.pt/en/informacaosobre).

The conference is organized by IMAR - Institute of Marine Research and Department of Civil Engineering of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology - University of Coimbra, Portugal.
